HI, I'M CASPER

My name is Casper van Huisstede. I'm a freelance UX/UI designer based in Amsterdam with 10 years of agency experience working with international brands. A UI/UX designer by heart, but with a background in industrial product design, you may call me a bit of a crossover designer. I help agencies, startups, and well-established global brands bring to life their digital products and experiences.

In 2012, I graduated with a Bachelor in Industrial Design Engineering and a Master in Interaction Design from the Delft University of Technology. As a human-centered design thinker I keep thing simple by applying solid UX best-practices and sound design rationale in all I do. Simply put, I design digital products and services that people love to use.

I'm quite experienced in working agile. Supporting scrum teams with pixel perfect designs and smooth interactive prototypes. But don’t worry, I feel right at home with some more conceptual or strategic work as well. Journey mapping user needs to translate them into wireframes or carefully crafted interfaces is what I love to do.

Staying on top of new tricks in the field of UX and always trying out new tools to strengthen my ability to visualise ideas.

I enjoy taking friends out on a tour around the canals on my (small) boat and I have a deep love for music festivals of all sorts. I love good food and good coffee.
